The firefighters, knows as the Granite Mountain Hotsats, died on June 30 fighting wildfires in Arizona. The fire was started by lightening strike , rapidly spread from one-half acre to several hundreds and destroyed more than 100 structures . It took the life of 19 hotshots before it was contained.
Artist Maria Karlosak Maria Karlosak is a visual Artist, combines figures, realism and abstract with an intense, everything-all-at-once style. Maria loves to paint landscapes and cityscapes. She saw a great potential in this form of painting and expression despite the difficulty of this style.
